We are all a little weird, quirky, unique and that is what makes us so fabulous.  In fact, I think our weirdness is what makes the relationships we have so valuable.

I love that my husband delivers the worst puns, and will continue to do so until I laugh.  And I know he loves it when I pull out my Robot dance moves when a groovy tune comes on (I mean who wouldn’t?)

Our ability to accept, and even (sometimes) appreciate these weird and silly things about each other is what makes us a perfect match.

So, when we had the chance to watch the Blue Man Group during a trip to New York, we embraced the weird of these strange little blue aliens.

And it was weird.  It was confusing, and hilarious. It was clever and ridiculous and at the end of the show, as we were laughing in our seats covered in toilet paper (don’t ask) we felt the glow of weirdness come over us.

We left the theatre appreciating our weird a little more than we did when we walked in.  We allowed our quirkiness to show throughout the rest of the day, revelling in what makes us unique.

And at BLUNTmoms, we are all about celebrating our WEIRD!

And we want YOU to join the fun!

  1. My husband and I act weird around each other as well, only now I’d say it’s our norm. 🙂 And I like how I know him, I mean really know him, like no other.
